A New Year of Water

This is the time for making resolutions. It is a time when people look at their lives and decide what they want to improve on and come up with a plan to do it. Everyone has slightly different resolutions, but something that we all need to work on is our water use. Resolutions are easiest to keep when they are a specific goal, so I am issuing a challenge to all of you to look at where you use the most water in your life and see if you can reduce that usage. For some, that could mean taking a shower that is five minutes shorter, turning off the tap when you brush your teeth, or even reducing the amount of meat that you eat, because the livestock industry uses a lot of water that could be put to better use. While we are focusing on improving ourselves this holiday season and in the new year, let's work on doing our part to improve the planet as well.

Happy New Year, everyone!
